Consent
Agree to treatment and sign all paperwork in person or via Zoom.
During this appointment, your implant surgeon will review the results of your CT scan and go through your clinical report with you. You’ll also get to see your personalised digital smile design, giving you a preview of your final smile!

Surgery Day
Have your dental implants fitted.
We’ll fit your dental implants under a local anaesthetic or IV sedation if you choose, so you won’t feel a thing! After surgery, we’ll send you away with a fixed bridge so you can leave with a brand new smile!

Permanent teeth

How much do dental implants cost?
Dental implants range in price depending on how many teeth are missing and the complexity of your case. A simple procedure to replace just one missing tooth naturally costs less than a complex procedure to replace a whole mouth of missing teeth.
Our dental implants at Synergy start from as little as £1,995, but it’s impossible to quote an exact price without assessing your oral health first.
How long do dental implants last?
Good quality dental implants placed by a properly trained oral surgeon can last a lifetime with proper care. When choosing your implant type and your surgeon, it’s important to remember that this implant will be part of your smile, hopefully for the rest of your life. That’s why choosing a quality implant and an excellent surgeon are key to making sure your implants last a long time.
Are dental implants painful?
Dental implants are not painful at all! Here at Synergy, we use a keyhole surgery technique, and only make an incision in the area of the gum required to place the implant, making surgery quicker and more comfortable.
We also perform all our surgeries under local anaesthetic so you don’t feel a thing, and offer IV sedation if you’re really nervous.
It’s normal to experience some discomfort and mild bleeding after the anaesthetic wears off, so it’s a good idea to take a couple of days off work afterwards to recover fully, though some of our patients have reported feeling absolutely fine within as little as a few hours!
How do I care for my dental implants?
Dental implants are a lifelong investment, and maintaining them takes a little bit of extra work. Just like your real teeth, dental implants need to be brushed twice a day, but they also need a special cleaning once every 3 to 6 months. You can book to have this special cleaning done alongside your normal scale and polish treatment for the rest of your teeth. During the implant cleaning procedure, one of our Synergy experts will inspect your implant for any damage and clean under your implant to flush out plaque and bacteria.
